Our Fees and Payment Plans

Often times, filing for bankruptcy can be an expensive and time consuming endeavor, leaving potential filers stressed and facing a rather large payment to a bankruptcy attorney. We understand that potential clients are usually looking to file a case in the near future, rather than wait months while they pay off the attorney’s fees. In an effort to accommodate all potential clients, we have both a cash payment plan, as well as a financed payment plan available.

Chapter 7 Fees

In order to file your Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition, we will accept a cash, check, or credit card payment from the filer, or someone loaning the money to you for your filing. Our fees for a Chapter 7 are typically $1050 if paid in cash, upfront. Once you add on the $299 filing fee, most cases are able to get filed for right around $1350, a bargain compared to a lot of current “downtown law firm” rates.

In addition, we offer a financed payment plan where your Chapter 7 petition will be filed with $500 paid upfront, with four additional $250 payments made monthly, in the form of post-dated checks. With this option, the filing fee is included in the first payment, bringing your total case expenses to around $1500.

Chapter 13 Fees

Chapter 13 fees are largely paid out of your Chapter 13 repayment plan. On average, our fees to prepare and file a Chapter 13 case will range from $3000-$4000, with a filing fee of $274 due upon filing your case.
